  • Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) sessions which are facilitated by a collaborative treatment team that includes a licensed mental health professional and a certified equine specialist, incorporating the EAGALA model. Please reach out via the contact from below.

Licensed Professional Counselor | EAGALA Certified Mental Health Professional

Dr. Cannie Graham is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in counseling, crisis intervention, higher education, and experiential therapeutic approaches. Her work blends evidence-based counseling practices with innovative modalities such as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful personal growth.

Drawing from backgrounds in counseling, public health, leadership development, and crisis response, Dr. Graham works collaboratively with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and identity exploration. Her counseling style is warm, authentic, and individualized, integrating approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and experiential interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Dr. Graham is passionate about helping individuals move beyond survival mode and reconnect with their strengths, values, and sense of purpose. She believes counseling should be a supportive and empowering process that helps clients build healthier relationships, increase confidence, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting change in their lives.

Danielle Southerly

EAGALA Certified Specialist | Founder and Executive Director of Willow’s Haven Farm Sanctuary

Danielle Southerly serves as the Equine Specialist for equine-assisted sessions at Willow’s Haven Farm Sanctuary. She brings deep experience in horsemanship, equine behavior, and creating safe, supportive environments for both horses and clients.

As part of the EAGALA treatment team, Danielle partners with the counselor to observe and interpret the horses’ responses during sessions. Her knowledge of equine behavior helps facilitate meaningful interactions that allow clients to explore patterns, emotions, and new ways of approaching challenges.

Together, Danielle, the counselor, and the horses create a grounded, authentic environment where clients can experience powerful moments of insight and growth.
